Please look back during the 2023-2024 school year for an updated call for applications.

CEAS is pleased to offer research funding to graduate and advanced undergraduate students in good standing for research related to East Asia. These awards may be used for research experience within the U.S. or overseas, pending filing all proper travel authorizations/ UA permissions.   

Application deadline: Friday, May 12, 2023 at 5PM Tucson time 

Eligibility: 

  • Currently enrolled University of Arizona rising seniors (for AY 2023-2024), and graduate students. 

  • 3.0 cumulative GPA 

Award specifics: 

  • Amount: $1000 (possibly up to $1500) 

  • To be used during Fall and Winter of 2023 

  • The research funds could be used for domestic and/or international travel, pending filing all proper travel authorizations/ UA permissions.
