🎉Let's congratulate Hanna for receiving the Fulbright U.S. Student Award!

Hanna Nkulu, an undergraduate student of the University of Arizona, has received a Fulbright U.S. Student Program award to serve as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Taiwan for the 2024-2025 academic year from the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.

While in Taiwan, she hopes to become a strong mentor and cultural ambassador to the students and families she will live and work with while abroad. Her community engagement project is inspired by her hobby of letter-writing and will continue to promote literacy and unique intergenerational connections by encouraging students to write letters to siblings, cousins, friends, themselves, and other community members throughout the year. Despite her pursuit of a B.S. in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science and passion for scientific research, Hanna applied for the English Teaching Assistant award due to her long-standing interest in global affairs, international education, and Mandarin Chinese.
