This Wednesday, CEAS was proud to co-host the East Asian Language and Culture Festival on UA Mall with the Department of East Asian Studies and the Center for Buddhist Studies! The event gained a huge success with more than 200 visitors joining us.
During the event, students enjoyed the traditional folk music performed by Purple Bamboo Chinese Music Ensemble, Japanese tea ceremony brought by the Center for Buddhist Studies, Tai-chi demonstration, cosplay by our talented language students, and K-pop dancing performed by UA’s dance team Underskore. They were also able to meet and talk with faculty members from CEAS and EAS, learning more information about EAS courses, study abroad programs, and our majors and minors.
Here are more photos from the event.
